What is your employment background?
I have worked in various sectors; however, my most recent position was working as a PA for a Managing Director who owned several companies. I was very much involved in the recruitment process and I particularly enjoyed this part of my role.
How long have you worked for Jane Lewis International?
I became a part of the Jane Lewis International team in the Winter of 2017.
What is the highlight of working for Jane Lewis International?
The warmth and friendliness of everyone at the company makes it a delight to come to work each day. It’s so rewarding to do a job where you are making a difference to people’s lives.
What are the benefits to overseas Nurses of working for Jane Lewis International?
There are many benefits to nurses overseas who are coming to work in the UK.
We support them from the very beginning to the very end of the process, providing ongoing support with coaching for necessary exams, financial assistance and we even help with their flights and accommodation to ensure their move is a smooth one.
What motivates you during your working day?
Knowing that I play such a huge part in making a difference to someone’s life, is a big motivation for me to do my job to the highest standard possible.
Receiving a ‘thank you’ or ‘well done’ from a task I’ve done well, really does mean a lot to me.
Tell us something unusual about yourself?
Not so much unusual, but last year I gave myself the challenge of completing three half marathons in 3 months which I succeeded in doing. I also completed my first ever marathon too which was a big achievement for me as I used to hate running!

Where is your favourite holiday destination?
Fuerteventura at the moment, but I’ll go anywhere where the sun’s shining!
